Set up your public feedback portal

Understand how your public portal works and how customers access it.

Your Featul workspace has a public-facing portal that customers use to submit ideas, vote, and follow your roadmap.

Your Featul subdomain

Every workspace gets a URL in the format yourproduct.featul.com as soon as it is created. This is the customer-facing page, not your admin dashboard. Share this link in your app, onboarding emails, or help menus.

Connect a custom domain

On Starter and Professional plans, you can point a domain like feedback.yourbrand.com at the same portal. Customers stay on your brand, and both URLs serve the same public site.

What customers can do on the portal

  • Browse existing feedback posts

  • Vote on ideas

  • Submit new requests

  • View your roadmap and changelog

Customers do not need a workspace login to do any of this.

Controlling access

  • Private boards never appear in public navigation. Use them for key accounts or internal tracking.

  • Guest and anonymous options let people vote and submit without creating an account. You can also mask names on public boards when you do not want identities shown.

Distributing your portal URL

  • Add it to your app's navigation or help menu

  • Include it in onboarding emails

  • Embed the widget so customers never have to leave your product
